Gacha Chill - Official Terms & Policies

This repository contains the legal framework and community guidelines for Gacha Chill. These documents are designed to comply with App Store (Apple) and Google Play Store safety requirements.

📄 Terms of Service (ToS)

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

By accessing Gacha Chill (the "App"), you agree to these Terms.

Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older to use this service.

Independence: Gacha Chill is an independent project and is not affiliated with any other gaming brands.

Confidentiality: During this testing phase, you agree not to share screenshots, recordings, or internal community details publicly without written permission.

2. User Safety and Content Policy (UGC)

Gacha Chill is a platform for social interaction. To ensure a safe environment:

Zero Tolerance: We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding objectionable content or abusive behavior.

Reporting & Blocking: * Users can Report any user or content that violates safety standards.

Users can Block any user immediately to stop all interaction.

Moderation: Our team reviews reports within 24 hours. Violators will be removed and banned permanently.

Child Safety (CSAM): We have a zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse Material. Any such content will be removed, and the user will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.

3. Virtual Items and Payments

VibeCoins: These are virtual credits with no real-world monetary value.

Gacha Mechanics: Results of matches and "drops" are generated via a randomized algorithm.

No Refunds: All virtual purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by local law.

4. Liability

User Interactions: We are not responsible for interactions occurring outside the app. Users meet at their own risk.

Service "As Is": We provide the app "as is" and do not guarantee 100% uptime or error-free service.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

🔒 Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide our service:

Identity: Email, phone number, and profile nickname.

Preferences: Lifestyle tags, age, gender, and photos.

Location: City-level location data is used to facilitate local event matching.

2. The "Delayed Reveal" System

To protect user identity, we implement a tiered privacy system:

Phase 1: Only the event organizer sees your full profile.

Phase 2 (Group Chat): Other participants only see your nickname.

Phase 3 (Post-Event): Full profiles and private messaging are only unlocked if a "Mutual Match" is confirmed.

3. Data Protection & Third Parties

Infrastructure: We use Supabase for hosting and Apple/Google for secure payment processing.

User Rights: You may request to view, edit, or delete your personal data at any time via the in-app settings.

4. Data Deletion

Upon account deletion, all personal profile data, photos, and linked social identifiers will be purged from our active databases.
